COMPLEXE ARCHÉOLOGIQUE DU CHÂTEAU DE TORCAFELLO
Complex located on a hill with the Sant Jordi chapel and the remains of the medieval Torcafelló castle.
Located on the Sant Jordi hill, it comprises the Sant Jordi chapel (15th century, fortified in the 19th century and converted into a telegraph and optical tower) and the remains of the medieval Torcafelló castle, which dates back to the 11th century but was rebuilt twice in the 12th century, the second of which gave it its current appearance. Inside the complex, an exhibition focuses on two activities linked to the town's development: clogs and espadrilles.
