One of Tasmania's highest waterfalls, Pyengana is accessible via a level 2 hike.
It is one of the highest multi-level waterfalls in Tasmania (90 m), a 15 min walk from the parking lot through a forest of tree ferns. This mini walk in the shade of the trees will take you to a viewpoint at the base of the spectacular waterfalls. This hike is classified as a level 2 hike, with a moderate grade to return from the falls. A good physical condition is therefore preferable. And good to know, for those who don't want to or can't walk, the waterfalls can be admired from the parking lot!
