Located at the edge of the village and on a hill with a breathtaking view of the region, Mas Pòlit has 8 hectares of vineyards, cultivated in ecological culture. The wines have been awarded the Vinari Prize for the best aged wine in Catalonia and the Vinari d'Or for the best wine of the DO Empordà. These are mountain vineyards with slate soil and close to the sea, two ideal conditions for producing grapes of excellent quality. The guided tours will show you the history and characteristics of the winery and vineyards.

Message from Management
Mas Pòlit is a family-run winery located in Vilamaniscle, in the northwest of the Alt Empordà region. It cultivates eight hectares of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Mourvèdre vines , aswell as white Moscatel d'Alexandrie. The vines are plant ed onsmall hillside plots that rise from sea level to 332 m above sea level.Growing in poor, acidic soils ,these vines have low yields but produce grapes with concentrated aromas. To preserve the quality of the grapes, much of the work and harvesting is done by hand . The resultis harmonious, well-balanced wines that are both powerful and fresh. Mas Pòlit's wines have been certified by the EU as ecological wine, best DO Empordà wine and awarded the Vinari d'Or prize. By prior arrangement, you can visit their cellar and enjoy a tasting session . You canalso order identical or different bottles of wine (minimum 6)via their online store .A great address for oenophiles!

L'atenció rebuda de part del gestor del Celler , seriosa , però efectiva i propera, feta amb l'ànima, com els seus vins.
Ens interessava coneixer el territori on estavem i els vins que si elaboren, i ens va donar informació de tota mena. Un plaer rebre formació en directe de persones amb coneixements, però també implicades i en actiu en el mon de l'enologia com el Sr.Iglesias.
