One of the oldest and most beautiful temples in the region. It's a veritable complex, perched on a hill and set amid lush tropical vegetation. It comprises several buildings. The entrance door at the bottom of the stairs sets the tone: this is a magnificent temple. You can admire an immense golden seated Buddha, a white seated Buddha protected by Nagas. Various pagodas, several altars, a large number of sculptures... Several monks live here. The view of Phayao and its lake is well worth the detour.
