The Angel Lake, also known as 'Telaga Jodoh' or 'Telaga Bidadari', offers a remarkable illustration of the geological wonders resulting from an uninterrupted process over centuries, and of the unique landforms within the Maros-Pangkep geopark. The name Telaga Bidadari derives from a local legend evoking the appearance of a rainbow on the surface of the lake, interpreted as a bridge or staircase used by angels to descend to earth.
