The railway station is located on the east bank of the Ulba, at the intersection of Myzy and Burova streets. It is particularly useful for those wishing to travel to Russia. Other connections with Kazakhstan only serve Semey after an incursion onto Russian soil, so this route is out of the question if you don't have a Russian visa and, of course, a double-entry visa for Kazakhstan.
Buses from Semey sometimes stop at the railway station.
To reach the city center from the railway station, take bus no. 3.
