The museum is housed in a pretty, long house with a pink and green facade. The building was constructed by Czech soldiers taken prisoner during the First World War. The collections inside have been dusted off and tidied up behind new showcases, adding to the appeal of the exhibition, which focuses on the tools and everyday clothes used by Kazakh nomads throughout history. The house itself is definitely worth a look.
