Hidden in a forest of mahogany trees are the ruins of Farley House, once one of the most beautiful homes in Barbados, destroyed by fire in 1965. Immortalized in the film Island in the Sun, the property was declared a national park by Queen Elizabeth II in 1966. Since then, it has become a favorite spot for Barbadians to picnic overlooking the ocean, take wedding photos or dream of the prestige of Farley House in front of its remains. Numerous concerts are also held here. Walking path behind the toilets.
