Hidden in a forest of mahogany trees are the ruins of Farley House, once one of the country's most beautiful homes, destroyed by fire in 1965. Immortalized in the film Island in the Sun, the property was declared a national park by Elizabeth II in 1966. Since then, it has become a favorite spot for Barbadians to picnic overlooking the ocean, take wedding photos or daydream. Numerous concerts are also held here. Footpath behind the toilets.
