This corner of paradise is the safest beach on the east coast. A coral reef protects it from the waves and currents of the Atlantic, making it ideal for snorkeling. In addition to the amenities, palm trees and casuarinas provide shade. The beach is famous for nesting hawksbill turtles, which hatch between July and October. It's also the starting point for the hike to Bathsheba (look for the small waterfall along the path). Quiet during the week, it's very busy at weekends.
