Hotel with superb pool and spa, located in a former fort in Tijara.
After a tedious climb to the top of the hill, you enter this former 19th-century fort through the Hawa Mahal. The palace has now been converted into a reception area. The fort's enclosure houses two large wings, the mardana and the zenana, which have been converted into a hotel. The other buildings house a bar and restaurant. At the time of our visit, major work was underway to create a new restaurant. The hotel also boasts a superb swimming pool and spa. Tea is served in the garden every day, along with snacks.
