Although the postcard is a little desolate, and the resort's finest hours are behind it (due to rising waters), the resort remains operational, and a good place to discover Turkana, its villages and islands. It offers a dozen or so comfortable rooms, and a more economical solution, the manyattas, which are basic, with a shared sanitary block. Contact them via Whatsapp at least 48 hours in advance. The resort offers excursions and good food. It's a great place to unwind, and live to the rhythm of the sun and the scorching heat.
