This is where wealthy pilgrims and, above all, their waiting wives come to eat, in what is one of the best fish restaurants in Macedonia. Oysters and scallops from France, lobster and sea urchins from Greece, lobster from Canada and wild fish from the Aegean (gilthead bream, st. piper, brown grouper, white seabream...). By sticking to the basics (spaghetti with tomato, fried anchovies and a small salad), you can enjoy the setting at a lower cost. But for sea views, you'll have to go to the Thessaloniki annex.

Το φαγητο και η εξυπηρετηση ειναι φοβερα και τα δυο. Πολυ νοστιμο οτι πηραμε. Παρολα αυτα, οι τιμες ειναι 1μιση φορα πανω απο αλλα παρομοια μαγαζια χωρις καποιο συγκεκριμενο λογο. Τα ψαρια στη βιτρινα ειναι ολα μπαγιατικα και ιχθυοτροφειου, φτανει ενα απλο τσεκαρισμα στα ματια και το χρωμα τους. Το λοιπον, πως γινεται να πωλουνται σε τιμες φρεσκου κ ελευθερου ψαριου, σχεδον 80€??? Χωρια που στη βιτρινα των ψαριων κυκλοφορουν και μυγες πανω στα ψαρια...

Παλαιότερα ήταν πιο καλό νομίζω. Αρκετά καλό αλλά όχι όπως πιο παλιά.

Visit for family dinner on 18/8/2023 as I am visiting every year this restaurant for many years in a row. unfortunately this time was bad. nothing special on the food, shrimp was sold as fresh but it was not. the bbq style of a shrimp that cost 80 euro /kg is very very bad. The menu is full of traditional dishes like moussaka.. why you need this in a fish restaurant with big history? seems the orientation is changed to more touristic approach.. sad to see this happening.
