This is one of the largest and most beautiful ancient stone bridges in Greece. It has spanned the Portaikos River since 1514.

This stone bridge (Γέφυρα Πορταϊκού) consists of a 29 m-span arch spanning the Portaikos River and supporting a deck 67 m long and 2.1 m wide. Located next to a waterfall, it is one of the most beautiful bridges of the Ottoman period in Greece. It was built in 1514 under the aegis of Larissa's Metropolitan Bessarion II and remained the only bridge to cross the Portaikos until 1936. On site: café, picnic area and Agios Vinssarionos monastery trailhead.
