CASTLE WALK
A walk in Oltingue, exploring the ruins of Landskron Castle and the remains of Morimont Castle.
Just outside Leymen, take the Thannewald path to the ruins of Landskron castle. This walk offers superb views over the Sundgau, the Basel region. Away from Levoncourt, on the Lucelle side, the remains of the Morimont fortified castle are impressive, and in Ferrette, the ruins still dominate the town. There's also a circuit of the three castles of the Alsatian Jura, on trails marked out by the Club Vosgien, a "turnkey" itinerary involving accommodation providers and restaurateurs.
