COUNTRY MUSEUM
Museum housing everyday utensils, devotional objects, stoves and furniture, mainly from southern Alsace
Opened in 1971 by the village priest, Alsace's first rural museum was born of a desire to preserve the region's heritage. Faced with the disappearance of old objects and furnishings doomed to oblivion, he collected devotional objects, school equipment and traditional crockery, as well as traces of skills such as sewing, weaving and field work in the old village inn. The museum was awarded the prestigious Bretzel d'or in 1976! Don't hesitate to ask for a guided tour for a total immersion in the past...
