SOCIÉTÉ ASTRONOMIQUE DU HAUT-RHIN - OBSERVATOIRE ASTRONOMIQUE D'OSENBACH
The astronomical observatory of Osenbach was inaugurated on October 1, 1993. It was the result of the work of the association volunteers who shared their knowledge and effort during the three years of its construction. In July and August every year, every Friday evening the public is invited to come and enjoy the site and the capabilities offered by the equipment installed under dome. Animators are of course available to present the sky (constellations in particular) and to answer questions about objects observed. Osenbach has a good sky allowing access to weak objects such as nebulae and galaxies.
