LA GRANGE DE L'ONCLE CHARLES
This young independent estate was born from Jérôme François' desire to reconnect with his family's wine-growing roots in order to produce terroir wines by emancipating himself from the notion of grape variety. He runs his vines biodynamically using Ardennes horses for ploughing and Ushant sheep which feed on the grass to transform it into natural fertilizer. This highly ecological approach enables him to produce wines that generate incomparable oenological emotions. These wines are notably acclaimed by a reference in the field, namely Jean-Baptiste Klein, elected Sommelier of the Year 2019 and head sommelier of the restaurant La Table d'Olivier Nasti in Kaysersberg!
