The restaurant is a family affair, and back in the day, it was grandma who worked the stoves. This is what gives the place its simple, authentic family atmosphere. The establishment is open non-stop from 6am to 10pm. You start with breakfast and a beer, and can spend the whole day having lunch and dinner until closing time. By then, you'll have had a game of belote with your table-mates. Here, the emphasis is on human contact and a good laugh without the fuss. A must for truckers, the menu of the day includes starter, main course and dessert. The menu varies its suggestions according to the season: fresh salad in summer on the terrace or veal escalope with cream. And if you're a fan of tête de veau, you'll need to book at least a week in advance, as it's such a hit! An authentic address for food lovers, jokers and... nostalgics.
