Welcome to Le Cheval Noir, an Alsatian winstub with the feel of a warm, modern bistro. The setting is pleasant: modern wood-panelled walls, large bay windows, old frescoes kept intact and backlit, terrace in fine weather. The dishes are generous and gourmet: tartes flambées, veal kidneys, cordon bleu, trout with Riesling, jambonneau, etc. You'll have a great time at the Cheval Noir and keep coming back! Une carte qui représente bien la région, et qui offre la possibilité de faire des demi portions, pratique pour pouvoir goûter à tout ! Les tartes flambées sont trop bonnes et les versions sucrées au top.
Le jambonneau était fondant...un délice. On sent que ce sont des préparations maisons.
