The Paris-Colmar no longer exists, long live the Paris-Alsace! The mythical walking event now links the French capital to Ribeauvillé, capital of the minstrels. Open by invitation to senior and veteran walkers, this international long-distance competition starts in Neuilly-sur-Marne and culminates in the town hall square of Ribeauvillé. On about 430 kilometres for men and 320 for women, the valiant participants cross 4 regions and 8 departments during 4 days and 3 nights at an average speed of more than 8 kilometres per hour. The walkers taking part in the 2020 edition are following in the footsteps of a long line of sportsmen and women who have marked the history of this historic endurance event created in 1926.
