Pastry cook, chocolate maker and experienced ice-cream maker, Rémi Schaal made his ranges in Alsace before moving to the United States for 20 years. In 2005, he took over the Keller pastry shop in Ribeauvillé to create Schaal & Co where his team welcomes you to a pleasant tea room. You will certainly fall in love with the delicious pastries and homemade jams (mostly organic), as well as with its exceptional coffees and teas. Depending on the season, bredalas (Alsatian cupcakes), Christmas logs, king's cakes, Carnival fritters and other festive moulds will also surely satisfy you. Schaal & Co also offers a wide variety of appetizers (salted kougelhofs, canapés, pies, various verrines) that will gently titillate your guests' taste buds! Add to that a lot of sweet treats, macaroons, candied chestnuts, chocolate chestnuts and other various ice creams and sorbets. To be enjoyed on the spot: Bourdalou pie, Linztorte, shortbread dipped in chocolate, strawberry heart with lemongrass cream, Mamama rolled cake, spring Brie, raspberry flakes Cupid and other unusual and irresistible desserts!
