Since 2014, Jean-Guillaume has run this 25-hectare family estate in the company of his oenologist wife, Céline. Working the soil is paramount for him, who is keen to develop his wines, which have been certified organic since 2021. The estate's terroirs - Grands Crus Kirchberg, Altenbgerg and Grossberg - are highlighted by wines of undeniable quality. Try the Pinot Noir Osmose, aged 12 months in oak barrels, with its lightly woody nose and silky mouthfeel, or the Pinot Gris Clos Ribeaupierre, with its fine, mineral nose and rich, fresh mouthfeel.

Nous sommes entrés moi et ma compagne pour acheter 3 bouteilles de vin. 5 minutes à regarder la liste de la carte et au moins autant au comptoir à attendre sans un regard, un bonjour envers nous.
Nous voulions acheter, nous irons acheter ailleurs chez des familles de vignerons qui ont un minimum le sens du client, ce n’est pas ça qui manque dans la région…

Curieux de découvrir ce vignoble avec des amis pour leur faire découvrir le vin d'Alsace, nous avons été déçu. La dégustation est payante 10€ et on nous a mis directement les vins les plus chers. Le service était expéditif et les conseils pas terrible, en plus les vins étaient chers. Je ne reviendrai pas et je déconseille malgré les nombreux avis positifs étant habitué des vins d'Alsace c'est ma pire expérience.

Excellent pinot gris réserve de 2021 pour l'apéro, nous l'avons découvert lors du marché de Noël 2022, dans une belle ambiance au domaine.

The service was just awful. Ignoring clients, rude, and pretentious. The two young ladies on 4 Nov made us feel very unwelcome. We were standing for 20 minutes and they did not even look at us. Other clients just left because their presence was not even acknowledged. Please improve the service in the cave to match the quality of your wines.

We have just spent 2 days at Jean Sipp and we would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Our room was superb and we cannot wait to return. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.
