Restaurant offering a bistro formula and dishes that are both simple and refined.
On the quayside, Chez Max offers a friendly bistronomy formula and a particularly attractive menu. On the day of our visit, as a starter we hesitated between the rillettes de canard confit aux morilles or the Paysan burger (beef, bacon, comté cheese and onion confit). Then between the traditional boeuf bourguignon or the original "Les coquillettes, c'est gratinée": a gratin with shavings of mature Comté cheese, leek fondue, spinach, carrot coulis and fresh goat's cheese béchamel. Of course, everything is homemade. And don't forget the terrace near the Yonne.
