Restaurant offering typical Alsatian dishes
The Zimmer family embodies a dynasty of winegrowers who are keen to defend their independence while preserving their know-how. It produces wines that fully express the authenticity of their terroir. AOC wines, Grand Crus, Late Harvest or Sélection Grains Nobles, so many wonders to discover and taste (in moderation of course) in an incredible cellar dating from 1572, open all year round from 10am to 7pm (free access for individuals, on prior reservation for groups). Adjacent to the cellar, the winstub "Au Tire-Bouchon" also displays a beautiful rustic spirit with its stone walls, exposed beams, frescos, tiled stove and hunting trophies. The dishes give pride of place to typical Alsatian recipes (flambéed pies, sauerkraut with five toppings or three fish, baeckeoffa, bibeleskas, munstiflette...), but nothing prevents you from falling for a semi-cooked duck foie gras served with toasted kougelhopf, a filet of Arctic char in poppy and sesame crust or an entrecote de boeuf maître d'. In addition to its 3 rooms, the winstub has a terrace arranged in a charming inner courtyard.
