KNEPFELFACHT
Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Riquewihr, this friendly event focuses on the quenelle, known as Knepfla in Alsatian, a traditional dish of the region. The first edition, in June 2016, was initiated by Yves Haas to highlight this local product never celebrated in Alsace. On the festivities menu: tastings of numerous varieties of Knepfla offered by restaurateurs associated with Riquewihr winegrowers, a culinary competition for amateurs, musical entertainment, a cabaret show and an evening meal with orchestra, all in a good-natured atmosphere.
