The Dopf and Irion families can be traced back to the 16th century in the vineyard. They knew how to make their heritage bear fruit: the vineyard and the castle of Riquewihr, acquired in 1945. The estate offers a diversity of appellations, grape varieties and Grands Crus. Jewels for the palate, savor the sublime Pinot Gris Grand Cru Sporen Grand Cru 2019 (roasted pineapple, tarragon, citrus and blond tobacco) or the Gewurztraminer Sélection de Grains Nobles 2015 (white flesh fruits, white pepper at the end). Bon crémant extra brut
Les bons vins sont chers mais c’est justifié par la qualité servie.
Dommage qu’il ne soit pas proposé des petits vins sylvaner, Edelzwicker à un prix abordable pour les petits budgets…pour notre part c’est cependant sans aucun regret, notamment du fait de l’accueil réservé, que nous avons fait notre commande.
