LA GRANGE À ÉLISE
Address in the centre of Rixheim with spacious, comfortable and decorated rooms, a very cosy relaxation area
In the centre of Rixheim, a village barn dating from the eighteenth century was completely renovated by its owners, Mr and Mrs Reymann. Today, the place, which is named after a great-great-aunt of the family born 112 years ago, possesses five spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms, designed in a poetic way. Thus, the pink room on the ground floor with discreet elegance welcomes the disabled. The Lys room with beige tones can accommodate up to four people. L'Iris Bleu, the Pivoine bordeaux and the Hortensia boisée à l'anglaise are the warm and quiet double rooms. A very cosy relaxation area around the large tiled stove promises you evenings safe from external stress. In the morning, breakfast is delicious with homemade jams, pastries and kugelhopfs. The motivation of the owners lies in one word: passion. Innovation to speak of, we simply come here to sleep and enjoy neat hospitality of guests, but also to develop or improve our skills of artist! Josiane has opened a small painting workshop which operates from March to the beginning of October! And that is a real pleasure to visit one's own little shop of decorative objects where gifts ideas are offered: scented sachets, table decorations, homemade jams... And of course, it is Josiane who does this!
