TEUTONIC KNIGHTS COMMANDERY PARK
A park in a historic setting in Rixheim, featuring an original hydraulic system and a large greenhouse, well worth a visit.
Reserved for the family of Jean Zuber, an industrialist who contributed to the wallpaper boom, this park is a private garden within the factory. Now a public park, it is entered via rue du Temple. The plane trees in the entrance courtyard are impressive for their height and the regularity of their trunks. Not to be missed: the original hydraulic system, where a small pond serves gullies that criss-cross the park. And a large greenhouse dating from 1820, of great importance to the history of the site!
