Launched in 1996, the Musicalta festival is held every year from mid-July to mid-August. Its ambition is to bring music to the highest level in the heart of rural Alsace. The program draws on several centuries of music, bringing together classical and contemporary, contemporary and electroacoustic music. The atmosphere is relaxed and concerts are held in close proximity. At the same time, the Académie Musicalta offers masterclasses given by professors from higher education establishments, for amateurs and professionals alike.
