This sawmill is one of the few in Alsace to have kept its machinery intact
You can't miss the 25 meters high brick chimney, impressive and majestic! Listed as an industrial heritage site, this sawmill transformed into a museum is worth a visit because it is one of the few in Alsace to have kept its machinery intact. The sawmill has been registered in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments in 1997. There is a Farcot-Corliss steam engine from 1893 and also a Cornwal boiler of 40m3. A visit to realize the genius of our ancestors and their daily life in the past. Hats off to them!
