Museum of sound, with one of the most beautiful collections in Europe, located in a former 17th century convent in Saint-Fargeau.

The Musée de l'Aventure du Son is a musical journey for everyone! Discover vintage musical instruments, phonographs and radios. And don't miss the mechanical music demonstrations (included in the admission ticket): pianos that play by themselves, the orchestrion, barrel organs... You'll also discover the history of radio, from the first inventions to modern models. An instructive outing for young and old alike!

Impressionnante collection et démonstration formidable par un musicien chargé de l'entretien et la remise en route de ces appareils qui nous plongent dans l'histoire du son. Merci à lui pour nous avoir fait découvrir le lieu et les objets.

Intéressant petit musée sur la captation et la reproduction du son des origines jusqu'aux années 50.
Collection très riche et démonstration d'automates (pianos mécaniques, bastringues, etc.) à ne pas manquer !

Visite très très intéressante et instructive qui nous fait vivre l'évolution de la transmission de son ainsi que sa popularisation. (De la 1ere fois que la voix fut gravée au développement du transistor, des tourne disques,pianos automatiques etc...).
Si vous êtes près de Saint Fargeau ce musée est à visiter impérativement pour sa diversité de découvertes sans oublier la gentillesse de l'accueil).
