Beautiful stone house with a kitchen of character in Vézelay.

This beautiful stone house welcomes you for a tour of flavors where creativity blends with tradition in a cuisine of character. The presentation of the plates is a marvel, worked out to the smallest detail. As for our taste buds, they appreciated the millefeuille of crab and crayfish, followed by the heart of Charolais beef fillet with pommes grenailles and mushrooms in wine sauce. Not to mention the dessert: caramelized orange and almond tuiles with passion cream. There's also a lovely 3-person gîte.

Même constatation, bonne cuisine mais deux heures pour un plat et un dessert réclamé plusieurs fois
, trop long et surtout sans explication sauf "vous attendez cela arrive"! Avec agressivité !!

Excellent repas avec une cuisine maison de très bonne qualité. Tous les plats du jour et de la carte commandes étaient réussis, inventifs et cuisinés avec de très bons produits, frais et de qualité.

Nous avons visité Vézelay cet été et avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant . Le cadre est très joli (nous étions en terrasse, nous avons eu peur de la route proche mais pas trop de circulation). Mais nous avons été plutot décues par la nourriture. L'entrée (crumble d'escargots) très grasse et assez fade, le plat (boeuf bourguignon) très bien présenté mais tellement sec. Seul le dessert (une mousse au chocolat) m'a réconciliée avec le cuisinier. Je ne pense pas y retourner.

Cuisine question, amenities and have to one hour waiting for a dish that is more limit no excuse their part.
However, the famous people are not entitled to the same treatment...
