Good small dishes according to the seasons, not expensive, to taste in a beautiful establishment of Kaysersberg.
Nestled at the top of the main street of Kaysersberg, this establishment pays its tribute to Alsace by giving pride of place to flambéed pies: it offers them in a dozen salty and sweet versions (gratin, munster, apple-cinnamon, red fruit...). The chef also prepares, depending on the season, good dishes: hot munster salad, sauerkraut and smoked pallet, rooster in wine.... Of course, La Palme d'Or is probably not the most appropriate place for a romantic dinner for two, but you can eat there rather well and cheaply!

Nous sommes partis à la 1ere bouchée ...vaisselle sale , potage qui avait tourné, bretzel rassies.
C est une honte d appeler ca un restaurant
Setting certainly does not offer anything Alsatian but is clean (were in the supplementary room; warmer than the main dining room), the welcome is very warm and friendly service. Only real reproach: it is a bit noisy.
The menu is varied enough with Alsatian products and some classic including pizzas. Everything is served very hot, the portions are generous.
It is not gourmet (or for a romantic dinner) but what is served is good (tested classic flammekueche, baeckoffe, ham hock); a bit like a good family and unpretentious.
We did not try the desserts because we were no longer hungry!
And the pleasant surprise occurs during to pay the bill. The slogan " it is not because it is not expensive that it is not bon" checks himself certainly aperitifs (6 + 4 + 2 dishes café for less than €!)
Even if the window is less attractive than others in the village, go, you will not be disappointed.
Les wc donnent sur la salle
Tartes flambées immangeables
service lent.
A pleurer.
On a tout laissé.
