Alspach Abbey organizing paper-related events, memorable exhibitions and musical events

This space dedicated to contemporary art is housed in a 17th-century abbey that was converted into a canvas factory in the 18th century, then into a pulp mill at the end of the 19th century. Access from Colmar is via the RD 415 towards Kaysersberg. The route is signposted Abbaye d'Alspach. haut lieu historique dont l'accès mérite bien le détour car l'abbaye se trouve au centre d'un environnement industriel, au sein des balles de papier à recycler d'une usine Ce lieu peut accueillir deux belles expositions par an et des concerts Il s'agit d'être attentif au programme de l'année La gestion est le fait de bénévoles d'une association (les amis d'Alspach), l'ouverture est celle des après-midis des week-ends et jours fériés Cette année, j'ai pu voir une très belle exposition de deux artistes dont l'approche du papier était certes différente mais magique l'une et l'autre De très bons souvenirs
