"Lec'h" means "flat stone" down Breton. The lec'h is often used as a tombstone. Sometimes called "cromlec'h", indicating that the stones are then arranged in a circle (the word "crom" means curved bottom Breton). A Belle-Isle-en-Terre, we say that this gigantic stone was allegedly thrown by the archangel Saint-Michael, when he fought against the devil.
