VALLÉE DU LÉGUER

Site including the beach of Trégrom, and a natural watercourse labeled site wild rivers, theater of animations in summer.
It meanders through the inland Trégor, nestling at the bottom of a bucolic valley. It's the only river in Brittany to have been awarded the "Wild River Site" label (upstream section), thanks to the efforts made to rehabilitate it: with the demolition of the Kernansquillec dam in 1996, the river has regained its natural course and biodiversity. Salmon, in particular, spawn here in December. The Léguer is a popular river for fishing, swimming (Trégrom beach) and walking: its banks are criss-crossed by hiking and mountain-biking trails. In summer, it's the scene of many events.
