The 10 large halls of the Bucheneck Castle evoke the rich past of Soultz as well as the history of the illustrious families who lived there. Portraits of the Waldners of Freundstein decorate the room on the 1st floor. On the2nd floor, you will see the memories of the Heeckeren d'Anthès family, the most famous of which is Georges-Charles who caused the death of the Russian poet Pushkin. The neighbouring rooms exhibit the works of Soultziens such as Robert Beltz and General Werlé. Two floors of converted attic space are reserved for old trades and life of yesteryear.
