CAVE VINICOLE DU VIEIL ARMAND
Founded in 1959, this cooperative brings together nearly 80 winegrowers and 150 hectares of vines. Some plots are on the terroirs of the Grands Crus Ollwiller, Spiegel and Zinnkoepflé. The winery houses a museum and a shop stocked with regional products. The Soultz-Wuenheim wine trail and the vineyards of the Château d'Ollwiller are strong witnesses to the wine tourism developed here. The estate is undergoing organic conversion, with the first 2020 vintages!

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9am-12pm and 2pm-6:30pm, Sundays and holidays: 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Closed on January 1st, Good Friday, November 1st, December 25th and 26th. Free tasting and visit of the winegrower's museum. Cellar visit for groups of 15 people or more, paying and on reservation. Online store. Rest area for motor home owners.

The Cave du Vieil Armand, an Alsatian cooperative on a human scale, brings together some sixty winegrowing families spread over 150 hectares of vines.
Ideally located south of the wine route, our vineyards stretch along the slopes of one of the most famous Vosges peaks, the Hartmannswillerkopf. Our vines flourish here, in a terroir of incomparable richness, to offer the full range of the 7 Alsatian grape varieties available under all the Appellations d'Origines Contrôlées : AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru and AOC Crémant d'Alsace.
Because we all have a role to play in preparing for the future, La Cave du Vieil Armand is committed! A conversion to Organic Agriculture began in 2016 with some of our convinced, committed and passionate winegrowers. In 2019, we obtained the Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3 label, a guarantee of sustainable vineyard management.
Our Caveau de vente welcomes you all year round, 7 days a week, where you can taste our cuvées and find a whole range of regional products.
