This late eighteenth century manor has an older part which dates back to the thirteenth century. The building belongs to the Saisy family, which settled in the region since 1215. This family took part in the Crusades and one of Saisy was companion of Bertrand Du Guesclin. The manor was later on owned by Meslou Jeanne, wife of Jean Le Rouge, Lord of Penanjun in Motreff. Their daughter sold it to Joseph de Rison, Esquire native of Armagnac. Sylvie de Rison, their daughter, gave it as a dowry to Count Charles René Saisy of Kerampuil, whom she married in the chapel of the manor, 12 October 1711. In 1854, Count De Saisy had 36 hectares of the land cleared on the moor. One hundred teams of eight oxen and two horses each, led by six men, took part in this large clearing. The grassland was converted into meadows and crops in two years. As from 1889, it belonged to the Baroness Cazin Honinctun, born of Saisy Kerampuil. The Maison de Saisy currencies are "Who is Saisy is strong" and "Mitis ut Columba" (Soft as a dove).
