A paved square, dotted with ponds and containing a Renaissance-style fountain, the beating heart of the city of Guingamp.

This paved square, dotted with pools and fountains, is the beating heart of the city. It contains one of its symbols: the Plomée, a lead and granite fountain of Renaissance style. The half-timbered houses that surround the square, dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, display a particular style: that of the Guingamp School, with small ogival windows topped by a cross of Saint Andrew. Admire the one located atno 35 of the rue Ollivro : built around 1416, it is one of the oldest timber-framed houses in Brittany, and even in France !

La place du centre porte bien son nom à Guingamp puisque c'est la place principale de la ville. On y trouve la fontaine de plomée ainsi que des restaurants aux alentours où passer du bon temps.
