Gwinzegal contemporary art center with 4 sound routes that allow you to dive back into the history of the place.
Completely rehabilitated, the former prison of Guingamp hosts since 2019 this contemporary art center dedicated to photography. Every three months, a new exhibition - always of high quality - is proposed, fruit of residencies organized on the territory or of international co-productions. The building alone is worth the detour. This small prison, built between 1836 and 1841 on the Pennsylvania model, was one of the first in France to have individual cells. Four sound trails allow you to immerse yourself in the history of the place.
