A private garden surrounding a manor house and a chapel with a pond, a river and age-old trees such as beech and oak
It is a private garden, located within the grounds of the Château du Colombier. It is one of the 6 gardens in Côtes-d'Armor that have the "Remarkable Garden" label. It surrounds a manor house and a chapel from the 15th and 17th centuries respectively. The park was originally a French-style park, but at the end of the 18th century it was transformed into an English garden. Start the visit to the chapel, which is decorated with a superb hundred-year-old Lebanese cedar. Other centuries-old trees such as beech and oak line the walk to the pond valley, where you will find a river surrounded by rhododendrons. Further on, the lake garden will delight you, populated by many irises and royal worlds, before leading to the vegetable garden surrounded by many species of flowers.
