You will enjoy a wide view standing opposite the sea, in the middle of the moor. This cross was erected by the Bréhatins in memory of Maudez, a monk, who built a monastery on a nearby island in the year 570 after being ousted of the island he had come to evangelize. The Maudez cross was erected in 1788 and faces the Island of the same name. It is a granite monolith standing on a molded base.

La Croix
C’est un monument imposant en granit se dressant face à la mer. Elle est située à la pointe Nord Ouest de l’ile et sert parfois d’indication aux marins. Continuer la ballade pour découvrir un paysage sauvage et une côte très découpée. Nombreuse magnifiques villas avec des jardins exotiques. Continuer la ballade jusqu’aux ruines de la chapelle Saint Rion et arrêt à la petite crêperie resto le Paradis Rose…

Croix de Granit que vous pouvez découvrir en faisant le tour de l'ile , situé non loin du moulin a marée de Birlot , elle domine le paysage et la cote sauvage.
