ST. CATHERINE'S CHURCH OF ALEXANDRIA
Built in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries by the Augustinian canons from the Priory of Sainte-Croix in Guingamp, This church is distinguished from the traditional Breton churches by its high square tower topped by a stone spire and its rib arches. This Romanesque and Gothic church, fortified during the War of Succession, accommodates many treasures such as an extraordinary organ case of the Westminster abbey, a 17th century altarpiece or a 1928 stained-glass window reflecting the 1347 battle. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1853 after being destroyed by lightning.
