On the border between sea and freshwater, this stretch of water is an accumulation of sea water behind a dam during high tide and tidal range is indeed very important here (around ten metres difference between high tide and low tides). The water flow is variable and adjustable according to the effect you want to get and some doors can be arranged on request for training and test. You can also rent rafts kayaks which are decked or not. For beginners, rafting baptisms are regularly organised.
