SANTO DOMINGO CHAPEL
This chapel that dates from the 17th century has as main attractions its belltower, the outdoor oratory above the porch, the two doorway pillars of its enclosure and a fountain from 1700. Its construction was decided following three appearances of the Virgin to a peasant of Lanvellec, in 1660. Inside, chains fixed on one of the beams remind of the history of an unfairly condemned convict, who had the desire for a barefoot pilgrimage to offer his chains to the Vierge de Saint-Carré, if found innocent. The real murderer having confessed on his deathbed, the convict fulfilled his wish.
