NOTRE-DAME DE LA COUR CHAPEL
Chapel of Gothic architecture, decorated with magnificent stained glass windows from the 15th century, the main window relates the life of the Virgin Mary
The Notre-Dame-Lantic chapel was built around 1440, thanks to the donations of Jean V, Duke of Brittany. Restored in the 19th century, this chapel of Gothic architecture has superb stained glass windows dating from the late 15th century. The glass mistress recounts in 18 panels the life of the Virgin Mary, according to the golden legend. The second stained glass window, also by Le Coq Le Lavenan, is located in the south chapel and represents Saint-Bernardin de Scienne and Saint-Nicolas de Tolentino.
