LEHON CASTLE
Castle that defended the valley of the Rance, restored and to be discovered through its walkways, stairs and bridges.
Located on an isolated hillock, this fortress defended the valley of the Rance. In 1168, besieged by King Henry II of England, it was razed and rebuilt in the 12th century. At the end of the 15th century, the castle was abandoned and became a stone quarry. After long restoration works, the castle opened to the public in 2006. On a clear day, it can be seen from the castle of Dinan. The new development of the site makes it accessible: walkways, stairs, footbridges allowing visitors a very pleasant visit. To discover!
