THE CORONG'S THROAT
The legendary Locarn Gorge, renowned for its rocky chaos, can be visited on a two-hour tour.
Not far from Locarn, the Gorges du Corong are remarkable because of the rocky chaos, created according to legend by stones that the giant Boudédé took off his shoes. To access the site directly, opt for the Corong car park, northeast of the circuit. All you have to do is go down the path to admire the gorges and the chaos. With any luck, you'll see otters! If you wish to enhance your visit with a walk in the moors, take the discovery trail that starts at the Quélénec car park, on the road to Saint-Nicodème. Last option, the Guellec parking lot to the west, not far from Duault, which will take you downstream from the gorges, just at the level of the rocky chaos. If you do the entire tour, allow at least 2 hours of walking, for a distance of 6.5 km. To find your way around, follow the buzzard-shaped markings. Be careful, however, with the chaos: you will have no choice but to hobble on the rocks to cross and find the path, which can be a little tricky.
